Students from The Riverside School in Vermont meet with a new friend from Nigeria

After reading an article recently published in The Caledonian Record about The Riverside School's cultural exchange with Nigeria a local citizen contacted the school to tell them that a Nigerian friend of his was visiting the area and would be interested in coming to speak with the students. Eki Abugo visited the class to talk about her experiences. Abugo is a fashion designer and business owner in Lagos, Nigeria. Abugo spoke of her impression of American freedoms and of the natural motivation that Nigerians have to take advantage of every opportunity presented to them. Abugo promised to personally carry the Riverside students greetings and the story of her visit to our class, directly to their sister-school group in Nigeria.
