Miracle Corners of the World constructed The Dr. Herman Wrice Youth Empowerment Village Community Center, which opened in 2001.
The center is located in the densely populated, Majengo area of Arusha municipality.

The Center offers free general educational courses, preschool education, computer classes, English and French language courses, and sporting club activities. Local young people also benefit from the Center’s free art and crafts courses as well as recreational sporting games, cultural activities and social exchange programs.
The Community Center has succeeded in becoming self-sustainable by selling art and crafts to visitors and by offering housing for rent.
About two-hundred young people participate in the Center's programs everyday. The youth clubs meet every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday and students attend classes from Monday to Friday.
Every year hundreds of students graduate from different courses offered through the Community
Center. After graduation, many of them have been able to get jobs or pursue further studies.
