Word Reflection Activity

Words carry different meanings throughout the world, throughout a country, or even throughout a classroom.  For instance, peace might mean something different to your friend than it does to you.  Pick one of the words listed below and reflect on it.  You can do this through a poem, an essay, a drawing/painting, a photograph, an interview with a person who you feel has experienced this word, or even through dance. There are many different ways to reflect on these words…you could think about what one of the words means to you, a time when you have experienced the word, or even how two of the words listed below relate.  There are many different possibilities! Be creative!

Love

Hero

War

Respect

Forgiveness
