Applewood Public School is located in the Niagara Region of Southern Ontario, Canada and is located in the City of St. Catharines. The school is located adjacent to the Welland Shipping Canal on the St. Lawrence Seaway in the community of Secord Woods.
The school is also located in close proxiomity to one of the large Genral Motors Factories in the city and various industries along the canal. The families of Applewood Public School are hardworking and students are raised with strong values.
The students of Applewood are looking forward to learning more about their peers across the world and becoming more aware of the trials and tribulations other people face in different nations. The One World Youth Project has been integrated into all facets of the curriculum and the students enjoy making connections between themselves and their new friends.
