1) Lists of Top Tens

Often times the media orders things in lists of “top ten”.  For instance, “top ten songs of the year” or “top ten movies of the decade”.  It is your job to help your sister-school/group learn more about your country by creating “top ten” lists.  This works well as a group exercise. These lists are a matter of opinion… it does not have to be what is the most common…but rather what you or your group feels should fill the lists of top-tens.

Top Ten moments which Changed the history of our Country.

1. Independence day in 1st Dec 1961
2. Union Between Tanganyika and Zanzibar Which Later on Born the Word Tanzania in 22nd April 1964
3. The death of our former President and father of our nation the late Mwl. Julius Kambarage Nyerere.
4. Introduction of Multi-party System.
5. Colonization: This made our country poor and under developed.
6. Globalization: This made people in our Country to Immitate Western Countries way of life.
7. Kagera war Against Dictator Idd Amin of Uganda from 1978-1979: whereby Tanzania Volunteer to help Uganda Citizens to fight Dictator Idd Amin’s Soldiers. After there Tanzania Soldiers Became the Victory.
8. The formation of East African Communityin 1967:which involve three countries which are Tanzania,Kenya and Uganda.
9. Arusha Declaration in 1977: This made the Agreement of making Agriculture to be as backbone of our country’s Economy.
10.  The Majimaji war which Fought in the Northern Party of Tanzania:The war Involve Germans and Tanzaniana.

We tried, first, to make a top ten of the most read books but Moroccan read more magazines than books. That’s why we make a top ten of mosread magazines.

We notice that by making this top ten that Moroccan read more French magazine than Arabic one.
