February 4th - Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

We have had such an incredible time in Ethiopia!!

The One World Youth Project workshops have gone so well! The Selam students wrote a great declaration, assembled a large cultural exchange package, and spent a day working on the United Nations Millennium Development Goals and their service project ideas. It has been an exciting 4 days!!!

Today the students organized a surprise farewell party for us! It included traditional food.... dancing....music.... and more food!! So much fun! We will post pictures and write more when we return home.

We both have learned so much in Ethiopia...and we are honored to have been part of the Selam School's community over the past week.

Sincerely,
Jess
