Cameroon Children Environmental Forum is a youg group which started during the 2004/2005 school year with three schools and 100 children under the direction of Nshari Alice Kongla. This year they plan to outreach five more schools and more children. The organisation works with children of the primary, secondary and high school age.  English and French are the official languages of CCEF. They also use some local languages. At this time all of the schools involved in CCEF for now are situated in an urban areas.

The activities of CCEF involve:

-protecting, enriching,  & ensuring sustainable development.

-creating mass awareness on environmental issues not only among  children as the future leaders but through them to their parents.

Children meet once a week in their school environmental clubs. The adult leaders of CCEF move to these schools to follow up their activities and to guide them on their projects. Then  children representatives of each school meet during workshops, and seminars  organised by CCEF, each term, to present a report on their activities and plan for next term activities. These youths do a lot of environmental activities which is part of the official program of the Cameroon educational system. They attend workshops, excursions and seminars organised here in town and some attend international conferences and so are open to the world. They also create friendships among themselves and all over the world .

Some of their activities have included: Garbage disposal, Tree planting, Greening our cities, Water, Energy, Developing  interest in Flora and fauna etc, and Environment without AIDS.
