Who: Young Peace Brigades

Where: Dunkwa-on-Offin, Ghana

In Ghana, YPB works to promote the concept of Global Citizenship (defined as "Having a sense of your role in the world and being willing to take action to bring about change towards the goal of the eradication of poverty").

Through campaigns, educational materials and volunteerism, other initiatives based on information and experiences from the field, we aim to promote understanding and increase awareness of development issues.

We work to actively encourage young people civic engagement activities on issues of development and increase links between our southern partners and northern youth groups and initiatives.
