How to Help

One World Youth Project is a non-profit corporation (501[c]3), incorporated in Massachusetts.  The Project is funded entirely by the generosity of individuals, organizations, and corporations.

During the 2006/2007 Project year we supported over 40 schools in 17 countries and 12 USA states, we plan to expand our reach even more young people around the world for 2007/2008.  But, we need your help! Our program is entirely operated by a volunteer staff of university students, called Project Ambassadors.  We split our time between school, work, and One World Youth Project.  In addition to operating One World Youth Project's sister-school program we must concentrate on fundraising to keep our organization afloat.  As you can imagine, this is often challenging!

We would greatly appreciate any help you could provide. All donations are tax-deductible.

Every little bit helps!

If 1200 people gave $25 we would have met our total annual budget! Over 175 people look at our website every day... this means that if half of everyone who looked at our website donated $25... we could raise our annual budget in just two weeks! Just some food for thought!

Our annual budget includes the cost of youth summits, support for more than 40 schools and 3000+ young people worldwide, video conferencing, action opportunities for the UN Millennium Development Goals, and much more!

There are many ways to support One World Youth Project...

Become a corporate sponsor...

Many corporations have charitable action committees that consider supporting worthy causes.  One World Youth Project would welcome the chance to be considered by your company.   Our relationship with our first corporate sponsor, Compusearch Inc. is now in its third year, and we are extremely grateful for their ongoing support and encouragement.  We are very interested in developing similar relationships with additional sponsors.  Please contact One World Youth Project Executive Director and Founder, Jessica Rimington, if your company would like to explore this possibility.  Thank you.  Email Jessica:  Jessica@oneworldyouthproject.org    (508) 428-8460.

Donate frequent flyer miles ...

One World Youth Project Ambassadors travel to school locations around the world to help facilitate cultural exchange and train students in youth leadership.  Frequent flyer miles would help defray some of the considerable expense associated with this travel.

Involve interested groups...

If you know of a group or organization (ie: a Rotary club, other community organization, committee/board, etc.) that might like to learn about One World Youth Project, please let us know! If possible, a One World Youth Project Ambassador will make a presentation about the Project to any interested group.  Click here to see if there is a Project Ambassador near you!

Host a house party...

Some of the most effective fundraising is grassroots.  If you would like to host a house party for One World Youth Project, your generosity will be greatly appreciated by all those involved! Invite some interested friends or community members over for a meal, and we will send you information to make a presentation about One World Youth Project!
