Tennessee, USA (St. George's Roots & Shoots group)...Day 2

One thing that I have noticed about St. George's: everyone seems so friendly! I know that is obviously a generalization. But, I have not seen it proven wrong so far!

I had a great time at the school today. In the morning I spoke to an American history class and then spoke at an all school assembly about One World Youth Project. In the afternoon I worked with the Roots & Shoot group as they wrote their declaration and filmed the documentary about their school to send to Uganda.

The declaration turned out great... very in depth!

Tonight Dixie, Donna, and I spend hours at a bookstore coffee shop catching up on the last five years! We then went to hear one of the Roots & Shoots members, Grace, sing live at a restaurant cafe.

Sincerely,
Jessica Rimington
