Come to hunger
Tanzanians are dying
Central regions are becoming Deserts
Children ,women are passing out of the global
Tanzanians are sleeping without Dinner
Lindi ,Mtwara,Songea,are torturing
Tanzanians are finished with hunger
Please let us cooperate faster
To make poverty and hunger the History
And Rescue our People
The solution for these
Youth should provide education
Youth should bring Changes on the Global
Tanzanians should understand poverty and hunger
Are the bad enemies of us of them?
Let us unite and form the Strong Youth network
For fighting all Disasters in the third world countries
They are dying with hunger they are torturing with poverty
Youth can do it!!!! Yes they can

Some sit in stately homes
on gilt backed chairs
hoarding money and possessions
pulling in all of the pennies
and never sending any out.
While others sit in dilapidation
on the dirt floor
using what little money they have
to feed their hungry mouths
working, like slaves, for nothing.
And the rich in their
suburban utopia
see nothing of the
poverty.
It does not affect them,
they ask, "Why should we care?"
But the poor cry for our help
and help them we shall,
by changing our ways,
sharing our knowledge,
time, and conveniences.
By bringing news to the fantasy kingdom
of the reality of others,
and we must do this
or suffer
with the thoughts of the
starving,
needy,
tired,
homeless,
poverty stricken people
of all our nations.

Dear Sister School and One World Youth Project (OWYP)
Participants –Here is the opinions from our Center students and youth dealing with the UN –Millennium Development Goal Number 1. ERADICATE POVERTY AND HUNGER all over the world.
Dear in our country Tanzania and other countries in our African Continent, the problems of Poverty and Hunger it is in a High Standard and extremely more than normal, let us say it is a Chronic and Critical Problem. Due to the risks which suffered the majority of the people in African countries, our Leaders took more of their responsibilities to pay role or to deal more about EXTREMELY HUNGER AND POVERTY in our countries.
So our idea, as the young people who are living in a hard Environment and a way of Discouraging in our lives, we suggest you as our sister school to share our ideas, to beg the UN –Chief Leaders and other Non Government Organization (NGOs) to form or to set a team to visit all Suffering Countries in order to do research and to consult the people. Which will be a good method to enable us to Overcome and if possible to banish all Critical Risk which suffered us from Extremely Hunger and Poverty.
Dear, believe or not believe, Majority of the people or Citizens of the third world Countries especially Tanzania, are still living under the Income of One Dollar(1$) per day. This is very dangerous. .So we think by using our One World Youth Project (OWYP) we can share our Ideas to Stop all difficulties and Complicated Condition of Poverty and Hunger.
Let us say that we expect that if we will contribute together our Views we can be able to Solve any Problems. Just tell us what do you think will be a sufficient way to enable us to survive our Lives. Together we will go further.

1.What is the Economy like in your Community?
The Economy is very hard and divided into two Classes to my Society The economy of Poor and Rich. Poor people:-Who are living in a very hard conditions as the sleep without Dinner and they go Lunch without Breakfast and survive a day below one Dollar and also due to people who are Homeless and also the Street Children also lack of Education to my Society and this is Type of Economy is which more People are facing in my Society. Rich People Economy:-these are the people who are enjoying Prosperity of life due to more money they have these are actually understand what is economic level than the Poor ones these is quarter of the Residents of my community.
2.Have you ever felt limited by the Economic Situation of your Community?
Yes I did as I missed the money for my my school needs such as Uniforms, Books etc..Iwas real felt difficulties and saw that am real suffering also I felt that due to the situation of life to my Neighbors as they miss even food even Clothes as well as to the Street Children who are real having Trouble with their life they don’t get Opportunity for School also Women are Suffering with the Lack of Water they tend to walk more Miles to search for water and Working very hard so that they can feed their Families.
3.Do you see Poverty in your Community? If so, what doest it look like and how are you aware of its existence?
Yes I do see Poverty in my Community due to people are still Ignorant which is Poverty in Mind ,Lack of Nice Clothes,Poor Healt! h due to Lack of Money for Medical Care,Lack of Money for Buying the basic needs.Due to above reasons are the one which make me to be aware of its existence in my Community.
4. Have you ever been worried about not Having enough to eat? Or,do you know someone who has these concers?Are these people in your Community who experience Extreme hunger and lack of access to food?
Yes I have been worried about not having enough to eat due to having Poor havest due to lack of Rainfall which also show the poor of my Community due to the dependence of Rain only which sometime refuse to Rain and make the Havests to be poor and people die Hunger.Also there are people who are experience Poverty and hunger and lack of access to eat t! hese are some of the People of Terati who are near my community whom we visited them as we went to them and see them and give them the aid of food also their land is not Cultivated they actually need the assistance from the Government.Its just an evidence for that.

How could you help achieve United Millenium Development Goal 1?If there is Poverty and Hunger in Local Community,what could you do to help this Problem?Or,what could you do locally to help to reduce povery and hunger globally? I could help to achieve UN Millenium Development Goal 1.as I could Provide Education to the society ,As if I and my group member will establish the project which could give loans to my society which help them to establish local business so they can have the access to their basic needs.Also I could educate youth about the importance of been together so that we can be able to change our society by Poviding Education to the society and fight the enemies of our society since the youth are powerfull generation. This will be local and Globally.
Can you think of a Project you and your peers might be able to design and Implement in your community inorder to help reach Goal 1?
I think that if we establish the Project of Making arts such as Batiks,paints,Beads ornaments and deal in selling them International and Small farming and use the Arts as the employment to the youth and sh! oe the society about what is happening in our society and sell our works and plan that the 30percent will go for helping the Uneducated Childrens for sending them to school and some of the money for the Provision of Loans for women who are poor and make them to be able to Care for their families we think also we could open the Class for people who are uneducated for educate them we think that this can work much to make the Changes in our Society and reach the Goal 1 of United Nations Millenium Development Goal for making Arts as Employment.

How we battle against it? Battle against Poverty and Hunger. We must build new factory. And many people work there. It is needful for Mongolia very much. We must extract children from house and countryside work. For adults: We would teach them special training.

If we, children, are collecting money for the poor or helping to feed them, it's not really assist for them. My goal idea is spiritual supports and give motivation to stimulation. What I can do now? After hard learning and studying and gaining knowledge we can find ways from the present situation and develop themselves. At final stage we can fight with together the state, according to optional right policy.

What is the economy like in your community?
We live in a limited economic environment that is 75% of the refugees population are unemployed. Making it difficult to earn income. We purchase almost everything that we need and want to survive from schooling, food, shelter, medicine and clothing.
Have you ever felt limited by the economic situation of your community?
We usually feel limited on a daily basis because of the poor economic situation in our community and our inability as refugees to provide those basic needs and wants we need on an average note. This is foster because of our prevailing economic situations and our status as refugees.
Do you see poverty in your community? If so, what does it look like and how are you aware of its existence?
Poverty is the most destroying element in our community that has also been consider dangerous as HIV/AIDS. It is seen in the fact of children going to school hungry everyday, sicknesses that can be treated end killing the victims, lack of school fees, child labor, prostitution and child abuse.
Poverty is consider within the Buduburam refugee settlement is indirectly consider as a way of life, because refugees are unable to provide means financially through which they can attain these basic needs.
Have you ever been worried about not having enough to eat? Or, do you know someone who has these concerns? Are there people in your community wo experience extreme hunger and lack of access to food?
Food, shelter, clothing, education and health are of greater importance to all human beings most especially to refugees. We as members of the RESPECT Intellectual Club can stand as a strong evidence to this. Twenty-five(25) per cent of the refugees population residing on the Buduburam refugee camp (about 52,000) receive food items from UNHCR/WFP. Out of that large number, the balance 75% does not receive any food item from UNHCR/WFP and as such constitute the vast majority of the refugee population in Ghana.

Poverty and hunger as stated above are consider as a way of life of the refugees because of their inability to earn income, lack of employment and 75% of the refugees population excluded from the food distribution. Poverty and hunger are seeing in the faces of the children at home, school, at church services and at public gathering, because parents and guardians are unable to provide the basic needs of their children because of lack of funding base on the economic situations of the community.

How could you have achieve UN Millennium Development Goal 1? If there is poverty and hunger in your local community, what could you do to help this problem? Or, what could you do locally to help reduce poverty and hunger globally?
In order to reduce poverty and extreme hunger from our community, and to achieve the UN Millennium Development Goal 1, we the members of RESPECT Intellectual Club have decided to learn and practice sustainable agricultural production strategies in drip irrigation system(USA) and Three Sisters Garden(Latin America).
Drip Irrigation System Garden serves as a demonstration plot for refugee schools and students.
Three Sisters Garden(Corn, Squash and Beans cultivated on the same mound until harvest. The Squash provide cover for the soil, and prevents erosion, the beans provide soil nutrients and the corn provide support for the beans to climb.

Our county is the fifteenth richest county in the United States. This is partly due to the fact that we live right next to Washington D.C. and there are a lot of government job opportunities. However, there are some poor people in our community.

No.

We do see poverty in our community but very little of it. In our town, there have only been about two homeless people that we know of. The vast majority of our community does not know what real poverty is.

No, not in our community.

Working at a soup kitchen, donating clothes to the Good Will, Purple Heart, etc. But since poverty isn’t really an issue in our community, all efforts would be put towards surrounding communities.
2. Can you think of a project you and your peers might be able to design and implement in your community in order to help reach Goal 1?
We could work at a soup kitchen in D.C., or start a canned food or clothing drive at our school to send to homeless people in other communities.
