Who: 6th Line United Youth Group

Where: Mooretown, St. Clair, Ontario, Canada

The 6th Line United Church is a small rural church in south-western Ontario. We have a group of youth between the ages of 11 and 18 that have hearts as big as the skies. This is the 6th Line United Youth Project.

We meet once a week and discuss, role play and watch videos about important global issues. The wonderful  thing about our rural area is that community ties are strong.  We grow together, we hurt together, and we heal together. The church community and surrounding area will share the positive message and  the benefits that this amazing group of youth will be a part of. They know that these isues affect not only developing countries, but friends and neighbours as well. We are proud of the accomplishments that this group does individually, and together.

From left are: kneeling on floor: Debbie - leader; middle: Jessica, Daniel, Riley, Laura, guest; back row: Reid (Riley's older brother), Kaitlynn (Daniel's older sister) hiding in centre back is our wonderful minister Debra McGill, Cindy (Laura's mother and group co-leader), also hiding in the back with the glasses is Craig, and the lady on the far right is Allison, co-leader. there are a few of our older youth missing as they were working or applying for scholarships. Sometimes we have 16.
