Who: Santa Barbara Sister Cities Student Exchange Program

A Sister Cities International Group

Where: Santa Barbara , California, United States

The Santa Barbara Sister Cities Exchange group consists of a small group of students ages 15 - 17.

  • We would like our groups to be involved in One World Youth Project because youth are the future and we feel the Millennium development goal #7, environmental sustainability, is a project that both of our communities would be interested in working on. We feel the only hope to protect our environment is if youth become passionate about our dwindling resources.  Youth have a way of seeing through politics and understanding what is important, they are not biased or set in their ways.  A true joy of working with these students in a cultural exchange is seeing them experiencing new and different things that allow them to expand their knowledge and understanding.
