Who: Global Connections Group of Nathan Hale High School

Where: Seattle, Washington, United States

Global Connections is a student group focusing on the goals of international relations, awareness and youth action. Located in Seattle, Washington, we have many opportunities to see different culture’s perspectives as our area supports a very diverse community.

As a group we are dedicated to making lasting connections overseas with other youth who also have a drive to take positive action towards world issues. As individuals we are motivated to make friendships that will last, educate and shape our future lives.

Our involvement with One World Youth Project is a serious step up for our club. Since we are a brand new club, we only have around twenty members in our group. By working in cooperation with such a large-scale group we will be able to realize our goals in ways that will be far more noticeable in society. The UN Millennium Development Goals are very well matched to the interests of our group and we believe our action in the OWYP will be a valuable contribution to society.
